808 State Discussion

My new obsession is Guild Wars! My hubby got it for me for Christmas and I play it all the time. You might want to check it out. www.guildwars.com It's an MMORPG meaning "massively multiplayer online role playing game". There are players from all over the world!

I just finished Star Ocean 3!! Yay!! Well, the main story anyway. There's some extra goodies after you beat the game that I'm working on now. I think I'll wait until after Christmas to start a new game. I've got cookies to bake!

Now I'm gonna have to look that all up!!

i've actually just finished a game! jak II - renegade on PS2. great game, and the ending made me want to go and play the first one again (which i've started doing). also playing killzone, loving it, can't wait to get it online. has anyone bought RE4 for PS2 yet? I was stuck for a long time in Jak 2...

Skate or Die was kind of like the Tony Hawk series. You had to do tricks on a skateboard and got points for them. There was freestyle ramp, high jump, downhill race, downhill jam and pool joust.

One of my favorite arcade games was Tempest. It had a ball instead of a joystick.

You guys, that brings back memories!! How about Spyhunter, Maniac Mansion, Fairlight, Master of Magic, and Skate or Die? :D My husband made cassette tapes of all kinds of Commodore music. He actually found an emulator so you can play C64 games on your PC! Pretty funny to go back and play those again!

I finished the first Splinter Cell just recently and I gotta tell you I'm hooked as well! I started Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and have been playing that quite a bit. I intend to play Splinter Cell:Pandora Tomorrow next.

Yeah, I like the music, too!! The episode where he talks about his 8:08 bedtime is called "Sleepless in LazyTown". The whole episode is about how we need sleep to be healthy.

I don't know if you get the kids' show "LazyTown" over there, but the show's hero, Sportacus, says he goes to bed at 8:08 so he can be rested and full of energy for the day!!

I'm now playing Splinter Cell (the first one). It's a good game so far.

Got San Andreas on the day of release, played it for a week and haven't touched it since. A few weeks later, I even bought the Brady guide and still can't contemplate spending that much time on a game. John PS. Must find those Action Replay codes for the Hot Coffee. Well, I found out that the new Legend of Zelda game (Twilight Princess) is being delayed by Nintendo until at least April of next year. Guess I'll have to find something else to waste my time on... Maybe I'll try Guild Wars.
