Audion Fabric mix

Can't recommend this enough - forward thinking techno of the highest order - it is peerless at the moment.

Ghostly International/Spectral are one hot record label.

Any fans out there?

You and me both mate.

Time to polish the jack boots down, get my hair shaved and Join in the Chant once more.

Off to London in July and maybe Spain in June to see them.

New X-Press-2 mix of Join in the Chant is great BTW.

New show promises to be very electronic sounding

Quit it with the age thing. Bernard Sumner was 33 when New Order released one of their best albums Technique - with the band soaking up the house and techno reverberating around the Hacienda. Similarly, Depeche Mode wrote Violator the wrong side of 30, and by all accounts, their new one Playing the ...

Mostly electronic stuff

Italo Disco
Depeche Mode
Basic Channel/Maurizio/Monolake/Rhythm and Sound/Pole
Electro
DFA stuff
Bobby O/Patrick Cowley/Giorgio Moroder
Nitzer Ebb (totally underated in terms of innovation - but their tunes still rock the place, great band, sorely missed)
Fixmer/Mccarthy ...

Cheers,

being a Newcastle United fan, I find acid house an excellent distraction.

First post

I've visited this forum a few times before, but being a lazy northerner, never bothered to register, until now that is.

Great forum though - knowledgeable, amusing, and very interesting.

I was reading that Q Magazine cash-in on the recent interest in electronica , and read a good piece about Japan ...
