We're keeping it small - 200 people max - just for the fun really...and because Wolverhampton has become obssessed with UK Garage and pop R n B. Be...

Q is a filthy rag written by sheep molesters, seemingly obsessed with the 'big' names in corporate rawk... :P M8 mag is a minor-league wanna-be with about as much credibility as er, Q :P I would imagine the other dance-press reviews will be similar except maybe Jockey Slut - it's just too easy to kn...

Graham: On page 66 of October's MUZIK mag, under a feature about Chill Out/Electronica clubs, there's a mention of 93 Feet East: "In east London, 93 Feet East maintain their position as one of the best venues in the capital with exciting electronica nights. 'Eat Your Own Ears' runs bi-monthly (the n...

Dubnobasswithmyheadman

I just picked up a repress of Underworld's first (and best?!) album, 'Dubnobasswithmyheadman' for £2.99 at HMV in the sale! Couldn't belive it - I've had a 'copy' on tape since it came out in 93 - but it's good to have on CD... one of my 'top 10' all time faves - real moody shit! Rodders - i'm still...

Who the f*** are you anyway? Either you've heard it or not?

I'm not a die-hard arse licking fan - if tracks are 'shit', I'll say so as I have before...but I'd hesitste before making a twat of myself and critiscising something i've yet to hear!!!!!

Some more info on the label would be nice...who owns it, and what kind of backing do they have? Wasn't too impressed with their 'lo-fi' website..

I forgot this was out! Have to nip down HMV to get a copy today...love all Underworld's stuff... Recommended listening: I've been listening to High Contrast's 'True Colours' all summer, and more recently Peshay's new album 'Fuzion'. Both are excellent, but High Contrast's is a classic amongst D 'n' ...

Was in the car to the studio yesterday listening to Jo Whiley on Radio 1, and someone chose 808's Pacific as their 'Kissed the girl' track (or was it 'First Love'??? - can't remember). Anyway 3 minutes of 808 bliss amidst the usual R1 daytime dirge is always a bonus! Jo said at the end, something al...

Erm, Graham, if you don't mind me asking, how did you use the Arp 2600 with the guitar? - I assume you mean playing the guitar through the Arp's filter? Also the cubik-style 'tape spin' effect at around 2.34 mins. Whatever, it's a lush sound - typical 808, and I can see how the part was used in Jeru...
