Wallpaper

Did you know if you've got Windows XP you can change your wallpaper to FOllow, which gives you a blue background and a load of orange fishes, just like on the 90 artwork

Woo hoo!

I think it's much better to have people's opinions on this board than to have a load of 808 state arse-licking. If someone doesn't like tracks from Don Solaris or State to State 2 or whatever they should be able to say so and give reasons why (and give their name). I'd rather read that than look at ...

My mate accidentally rang his work from his mobile so there is about a 10 minute 'bootleg' of the set on his work answer machine! haha

There was Graham on keyboards, guitar and sax, Darren on congas and dex, Andy on keyboards and fx, and a live drummer. Techno City / Donkey doctor was similar to the original but with more of an electro beat with some scratching of "welcome to techno city" by Darren. Cobra Bora sounded a bit more 'l...

All reet lads! Enjoyed 808 at Colours doing their stuff, and good to meet some of the crowd from this board. Hope you had a top day out. We were in the Space tent just before 808's set started, and David Morales was on. Incidentally I remember the last tune we heard he played was his mix of Bjork's ...

This is a link to a better Coloursfest site than the one at http://www.colours.co.uk:

http://www.s1play.com/coloursfest

There is a bit about all the acts appearing, including 808.

On the subject of that weekend with Shindig, Royksopp and Fila Brazilia, there is a new Traveller website who ran the latter two of those events http://www.travellerclubnight.co.uk It also says on the News page that Jockey Slut magazine's resident photographer went to the 808 State DJ's at Traveller...

Yes I'll be there with my mate Moby (not THE Moby, a lad called Andrew Mowbray who's a Hearts fan) but we're in the Travel Inn in Glasgow city centre, not the airport one. Thought it would be better to spend the morning in the city to watch England v Sweden before colours starts. See you there! :coo...

I've just about recovered from a mad Bank Holiday weekend - Spent Saturday in the pub watching the Cup finals and Sunday we went to Shindig's 10th Birthday at Baltic Square in Newcastle which was a mad outdoor (bloody freezing) party next to the Gateshead millenium bridge with Scott and Scooby, Yous...

Excellent stuff. I liked the first part with the funky loop as well as the second track. I liked all the sounds used - more of this kind of thing!

Nice one Rich, I agree there's not a bad track on the whole compilation (about 3 hours long). The Tiga & Zyntherius / New Order mix on the first CD is excellent!

We're in the Travelodge in the city centre, not the one at the airport. There's a taxi rank nearby and it's right near the motorway for getting to Braehead and back. It's £49 a night.
