Feel like a bit of a grass (?) writing this...but i'm sure everyone would want to know  -

I've heard (with reasonably good authority) that 808 are in 'talks' about a concert in Manchester this summer. A friend is seeing *someone* from Manc involved in promotions etc, and reckons a meeting has already taken place with *the afore mentioned* and Graham and Darren at their studio. Obviously i've not heard this first-hand, but 'word' is everything's agreed and stage sets etc are already being organized...Can anyone here substantiate things? Markus?

Bit more to add having spoken to my source today...It's going to be at an airfield in Manchester, and will be the official album launch party.....

Got a date now - August 10th...There will be a Marquee (700 capacity) with DJs playing and 808 live around 1-2AM. Apparently there's tanks and 'radar' at this place - ring any bells? Was slightly misinformed - it's not the album launch, that's another event being organised!

According to Graham it's all still very much up in the air, hopefully we will get more information by the end of this week. He also states that the whole gig scene in general is much more fragile now than compared to the past...
