Also - going with the Cubik bootleg theme - has anyone listened to the following or got hold of a copy?:

"Get the Cubik Started" - Pink Vs 808 State (2003)

10,000 Spoons - "When will I be Cubik?" - Bross Vs 808 State

Definately a huge slab of cheddar with that!

It would be great to hear them on the site.

I remember a friend putting the Bros bootleg into a mix tape he did for me, he got a very big slap the next time I seen him. Who ever thought of that has little or no knowledge of music.

John :-?

Also has anyone heard or have the following? Pacific state 202 X-press 2 vocal mix. Was this an official mix or just a bootleg? (4509-96055-5).

And I cant remember if the following mix of Pacific was the 2003 mix??:
Rogue traders - State of the future. Really I should be bothered to take a look back at the old 808 news file of 2003!

Has anyone got a copy of this roughly related 808 track:

Beastie Boys vs. All Sorts of Vintage Techno
"Ch-Check It Out" (Old Skool Mix) - Uncle Ben mix??

"Making the new Beastie Boys single slightly less annoying! (Techno tracks include: Fast Eddie "Yo Yo Get Funky," Royal House (Todd Terry) "Can You Party," Inner City "Good Life," 808 State "Cubik," LA Style "James Brown is Dead." These songs are from when Uncle Ben used to go out to" raves," children! You know, those things with the Dr. Seuss hats? No? Well, they were good times".

Staying with the original topic - ahem ahem - great news! There's a 1:45 sample of what they did with Cubik / Dominator at http://www.cisco-records.co.jp/cgi/trac ... 732_43.ram
Has anyone ordered from HMV yet? And has anyone ever ordered from here:
http://www.radiosoulwax.co.uk/cds/lm_essentialmix.htm
slightly cheaper...

This link did not seem worthy enough for its own topic. And it does link up with Bootlegs:

http://www.progressive-sounds.com/artis ... 3-2002.asp

Its an interview with Hellpass (who did an Orbital Chime Bootleg). Who says he can't get clean enough samples to remix Pacific- surely something could be aranged for him so as to get another mix of Pacific in the Clubs!

Heres hoping.

The info on the X-press 2 Pacific was found on the following site:

http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/808_state

Also on there it lists the Only Rhyme that Bites (Bittersweat Mix). Is this mix any different to the comercial releases??

At the same site but the following thread:

http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/grooverider

Is this the before mentioned Grooverider mix of Cubik or was this misslabelled and meant to be the Grooverider Jeep mix of Pacific??

Does anyone own this release?

ZTT98 is the cat number for the Pacific 808:98 CD single which features the Grooverider Remix. The CD single also has the original edit of Cubik on it, is this where the confusion probably comes from?
