Hopefully this is a good new for you guys! You have a good chance to pre-order the Japanese version of the coming album from the 808state's Japanese distributor...

I emailed to the Japanese distributor BAD NEWS REDCORDS last night mentioning that there are many 808 fans outside of Japan who are interested in pre-order the Japanese version of the coming new album.

BAD NEWS said currently they don't accept pre-orders from overseas BUT they decided to consider this fact seriously. They will email me back later if anything happens

I think it's a good idea to write an email them to show how desperately you want it! They might take your email into their consideration.

Mr (or could be Ms) TAKADA at BAD NEWS RECORDS

I know it's very hard and expensive to get a Japanese copy out there...

Good idea, though there online ordering system doesn't seem as smooth as some japanese online stores. We shall see. In the meantime, some wonderful bonus track news is in the news section...

Outpost Transmission is now listed on http://www.gemm.com under http://www.musicimports.com, which is a US based import specialist. Info confirms bonus tracks, and release date was supposed to be 22/5/02.

Only problem is the hefty $42.99 (not inc shipping) price tag.

Good to see Quincy's finally getting a CD slot!

not a good news...

I pre-ordered the new album at Tower Records in Tokyo the other day. They called me back last night to let me know now the release date is postponed again.

According to the email from BADNEWS, the Japanese distributor, the expected new release date is mid September.

Oh well... I will just have to wait patiently =)
