Easy now - there's probably some weird KLF'esque connection between the Tron-soundtrack and "Quadrastate"...!
("Conspiracy-theorist"-mode: OFF)

BTW, forgot to mention that I got my copy (of "Quadrastate" - not the Tron-soundtrack) last monday...!

as an album, i am very well pleased with quadrastate!
the sound is very well and the bonus tracks are quite nice, indeed.

my only :( is that the carpenters sample is missing at the end of the 303 mix

and the end of state to state is edited. if you've not heard-it's kinda like the end of strawberry fields forever-(similar idea, anyways...)

but i was glad to get it so early: 13 may 2008 so thats good fun ;)

Just got mine today from HMV Manc. As people say 'In Yolk' is a hidden gem and I can't believe its been locked away all these years. It could easily have appeared on the original albumen (sorry couldn't resist)

Yes, I hope he's 'shelled out' for a copy, etc etc.

I'm wondering, have people been finding Quadrastate in their record shops?

Saw it in the Zavvis/HMVs in central London, but not in the local (Bromley) one. I personally bought it from Warpmart however.

I have yet to see a store in Amsterdam stocking it. Probably not helped by the fact that Lowlands distribution (still mentioned on the cover) folded just around the time of release.
Other overseas experiences?

I found "Quadrastate" in Darlington HMV, bought it, but was disappointed this week that they didn't bother to get in the new remastered albums. Sad that less and less space in the store is given over to music.

I noticed that today too, went to Warrington branch and was amazed at how few CDs were instore, just a small area at the back and no dance section at all. Sign of the times I suppose.

Double vinyl back in stock at Boomkat (note that the CD is out of stock) :

Also in the meantime I have spotted Quadrastate at my local record shop in Amsterdam too. It's a bit hidden under 'Classic House Compilations'...
