lost 88 tongues track

Postby graham » 13 Apr 2007 12:53

Ive put up a lost 88 biting tongues tongues track up on my space.
recorded after recharge album in spirit studios and Mixed and finished in Strawberry Studios. You ll notice that the R8 drum machine has some recognisable fills from 808 era stuff and is quite 303 based.
Its just me and Howard ,and He s playing Great (on the Tenor sax).
It was a three track 12 inch single but coincided with Cut Deep finaly going bust. so no test pressings existed only cassette copys (promo) with the strawberry studios logo on. (didnt even have a name) The other two tracks
are very techno with no real intruments on at all.(i ll just check with H and may be stick em up here)

Great stuff, thought it was going to explode into Starsky and Hutch mode at any moment.

The first whiff of Cobra Bora at the end

OMG!!! How nice sounding! Very '90ish'.

Fairly suprising it sounds like a later 808 track rather than from 1988. This track must have been one of those tracks that shifted your direction musically to where it went. You can 'ear it.

What a treat indeed!! Thanks so much! :D
