808 live at G-Mex DVD
Nick Johnson created a fantastic DVD a while ago of the original Granada TV broadcast (808 State supporting the Happy Mondays). Since this will probably never be commercially available, Nick would be happy to supply fans with copies of the DVD at cost price (he's made a damn fine job of the artwork too). Needless to say this is purely for private use. If you are interested, send Nick a private message.

VHS Transfer
To answer solarex's question, probably the best way to transfer footage from VHS to DVD is with a DVD/Video recorder. That way everything is internal and you rarely have problems with lip sync. Once you have the footage on a dvd disc it is then much easier to transfer to a PC for editing and re-authoring. I had a friend transfer my footage but DVD/Video recorders a quite reasonably priced these days. I find the best programs for editing and re-authoring are AVS DVD author, DVD Shrink and TMPEG.
Hope this Helps
