possable photo help.

Postby graham » 30 May 2008 18:48

Dont know if any of you are video technicaly minded, but in our search for sleeve photo material for the reissues ,I was wondering if we could get any screen shots off optibuk? Gorgeous is the sleeve in question and I just thought ,one shot off plan 9 vid at reaonable quality would be good.
or any gorgeous era video...Theres a bit of a rush , so if any one fancys having a go over the weekend taht would be great..
Pete Walsh has come up with a lot of stuff ,but its a matter of going for ones that have an atmosphere sympathetic to the sleeves. Its harder than you think..leave a message on my private message section Cheers G

I think what Graham is after is something similar to http://www.808state.com/image808/video/plan9.htm but then high-res. Don Dee is on the case :)

Hi Graham

Did you get what you were after regarding the pics off Dee3? If not let me know and i will have a go too. I did have a test run at screen captures but although i got some good results i wouldnt say they are high resolution quality. Also because of the way Plan 9 is filmed with the grainy filtered look it makes trying to get a decent looking pic all the more harder. Tried to run it through some photo editing software but results were questionable.

regards

Nick.
