Sure it would have been nice to get that other minute or two of the original bits... I thought it was probably left off the reissue due to sample licensing issues... ?
My reissues I've kept wrapped and unopened, so I cannot verify. But could it be, that Fire Cracker is actually missing the beginning on the original issue?
The New Order Recycle project found out recently, that what was believed to be a missing beginning of the bassdrum pattern opening of Blue Monday on the 12" to the Substance version was actually the other way around.
