Hrmmm - only one disc; could sound like a re-packaged 808:88:98, IMHO...

Good find nevertheless, Pete - thanks for the heads-up...! :)

Hmmm, this could be an updated 88:98 by Salvo.

Sounds promising.

We had the bonus of Crash of the previous 'best of'

If a new Salvo release is to be a double, perhaps we'll get a couple more surprises!

I would love to see Quincy's, Invader etc..... on there too.

Now we're talking! :D

Salvo seem to mean business. Are they just re-releasing ZTT stuff, or are they financing new releases? (He says, very hopefully)

Just seen this thread and this is really good news. My hopes for this addition to the 808 State archive materal is that it is a completely new "Best Of" and not a rehash updated 808:88:98, although that in itself would be welcomed if nothing else is planned.
Everybody has their own favourite tracks and you can bet some won't be included in on this project so what I am hoping to see to keep old fans and newbies happy is a complete singles anthology over 2 or 3 discs to keep everything up to date to where we are now and yes it would be nice to have the odd one or two exclusive completely new tracks as a thankyou to die hard fans.
This should Include all singles releases not just the ZTT sessions but everything 808 have released as a single from the Creed label to now. This will probably never happen but an Anthology of material such as what Beastie Boys did with their stuff would umbrella the whole dance and electronic music scene that 808 were a part of and helped establish in the first place from way back circa 1988.
Ok I have had my say :D but whatever becomes of all this I will be preordering my copy asap.

Is it just me or does the original Amazon link now show a John Williams compilation?
