606 Video Available For Download

Post by Boodabang » 07 Jun 2004 05:44

This is a low-rez version of a video I created for 606. If anyone is interested in a higher-rez version I can definitely make one available. I hope you like it!

606 Low-Rez (approx 16.5 meg)

808 State have been one of my top 5 favorite musical groups since I discovered them way back in '89. I was lucky enough to see them perform here in the states in Austin, Texas (Gorgeous album). I also got to experience them spin a set at a nightclub in Dallas, Texas a bit later (I think when Timebomb was released).

For me, 808's music is beyond words to describe it. It takes me to another place. Thanks for the great tunes!

:( Was it so bad that no one wanted to hurt my feelings by commenting on it? Maybe it's too large a download?

Absolutely not, I think it's very cool. It's very nicely synced with the music & vocals. Since there wasn't even a single released by the record label let alone a video, now at least we have some sort of a video clip. The lack of response might be due to the fact it's a Windows world, and many windows users don't look any further than their windows media player... Have you authored it to any other formats, e.g. mpg, avi or real? Well, Quicktime is good enough for me.
I will gladly make it available on the site in the fan mixes section. Let me know how large a high res version would be, maybe we can make both available. Thanks!

I had not considered format as being a possible issue.

Just tell me what format(s) you would like the video in and I'll convert it. As far as a high-res version goes, I can make the video available in whatever size(s) you want to support. My email is listed in my profile if you want to send me details on what you would prefer.

.avi is a better format for (divx) as you can compress very well and still have great quality.

Excellent video.
Noticed slight influences of 'It's A Beautiful World' by Devo.
Overall a great effort! You should consider posting a higher res divx version.

Cool. I think up to 10 MB should be OK.
