Am I the only person to be amazed that Full On Mask Hysteria is changing hands for over £40 on eBay?

I've seen two go for that much in the past fortnight and one I'm watching is up to £25 with still a few days to go.

Time to go scatting around car boot sales me thinks!

What?!
Is this the CD- or the vinyl-version (with the bonus 12")?
Hrmmm, who cares - looks like it's also time for me to scavenge 'round the
2-hand shops and pick up some copies (last time I saw 'em these at places, they go for approx. £3-£4 over here).

Unreal... :-?

"eBay, here I come...! Kaaa-ching!!!" 8)

BTW, I wouldn't part with my CD- and vinyl copies (respectively) of "Full On Mask Hysteria", though!
(Yeah-yeah, I know, but they do bring back some fun memories from "back in the day"...!) :P

Yeah, I've got both Vinyl & CD copies of the album and its not really that rare, I've seen a few in seocnd hand shops for about £5-£10 but they seem to go on Ebay for loads. Don't really know why. Fantastic album one of my all time faves.

Top One, Nice One, Get Sorted! 8)

Seriously, though, Full Mask Hysteria on CD is difficult to get hold of nowadays, so if you see it in a shop for not much dough, stick it on ebay! 8)

The people on the Altern 8 Forum have been trying to petition for a reissue of the CD at some point, as it's proving near impossible to find in those second-hand shops nowadays (take a look, it ain't there anymore)! :D

As for where the Activ8 sample comes from, I dunno, but I did find out from the Altern 8 forum that the female vocals on Infiltrate 202 are from Candi Staton's "I Know" 8)

[It was a question posted on a previous incarnation of this forum some time ago] :D

Hi Rodders ('n' the rest of ya)!
I'm not completely dead-sure on this one, but I believe that the sample you're, talking about (used in "Activ8"),
is lifted from Peech Boys - "Don't Make Me Wait" (If memory serves me correct).

FYI, the old Drum 'n' Bass Sample List (previously know as The Breakbeat Sample List)
is still alive and online at:

This is similar to the North At It's Heights CD, it often goes on eBay for 30 quid.

OK. Not that I'm obsessed with this or anything but it's verging on the ridiculous now. One has just gone for £51. :-?

My £30 for State To State is beginning to look like a bargain.
