Frankie Goes To Hollywood reunion @ VH1

Post by solarex » 13 Nov 2005 10:34

Anyone seen the Frankie Goes To Hollywood reunion @ VH1?

I don't know when it was made or shown for the first time. I personally saw it for the first time last night. Bloody hell that was good. The band and Paul Morley came to a fight at a massive Wimbley gig in 87 and has never seen let alone spoken to each other since.

VH1 tracks them down all over the world to ask them to sit down in the same room for a chat. And maybe a little playing. Everyone agrees very reluctantly and non of them are feeling comfortably. Kinda embarrasing but great to see them again. And great hayday era footage of course.

(Why am I not surprised that it's solarex that posted this one!)

I've seen it and IMHO it's one of the best VH1-reunion shows that's been aired so far!
FYI solarex, it's been aired previously (however, I can't remember when, right '04, maybe?).
There might be something 'bout this program on FGTH's website...
Shame that Holly Johnson "chickened out", though! :-?

If anyone out there likes FGTH and hasn't seen the show yet, I'd recommend you in doing so, if you get the chance!

The reunion is a reality.

Well, a key figure of the original line up is missing. As predicted, but 3/5 is in. I hope it will not be a stinker. I saw Duran Duran this summer and it was brilliant, so there is hope.

Still I think it is a bad idea.

PS. Does anyone know a good and functioning FGTH fan forum?

Didn't this come out of the whole Trevor Horn 'Produced' Album & Concert?
