The Overlords

Anybody remember the eerie techno classic Sundown?

One of my all time favourites.

A recently came across this in a shop so bought it on the back of Sundown.

What a dissapointment - pure and unadulterated euro trance p*sh :x

Way-hey!!! "Sundown" - still got the white lable of that one...!

"All the Naked People" was one of their last releases, if memory serves me correctly! And weak one, too, (again) if memory serves...!
The 12" of "Wow, Mr. Yogi!" was sorta okay - but that's pretty much all he wrote.

Actually, I got an 808 State-related anecdote here: back when I bought "Don Solaris", The Overloads were doing a P.A. in the store (the long-closed HMV in CPH) at the same time! Odd coincidence...? :P

The P.A. was also close to embarrising, too!
Overloads've gone from three members to two, and they were all donned out as Hara Krishnas - Orange Robes, shaven heads - the works...
And the tune I heard was close to crap...! :-?

Mighty kickin' stuff, I might add (Kox Box that is...!)
- kinda similar to Juno Reactor, if anyone remebers them...
(didn't Kox Box remix some of their stuff? Oh yeah, "Feel The Universe".)

Oh, I've also seen Kox Box live, BTW...
Equally kickin'...!!!
