An atari st jam sounding very 808esque

Post by PatFromCanada »

Hey yo,,,

I was surfin' YouTube for some Atari st info and came across this bit of vid where some girl is jamming on her atari in conjunction with her synth modules. I got partways into it and it has an incredible Graham Massey sort of vibe to it.

Please excuse the repetitive nature of it... I guess this artist was 'vibing it up' as they say... trying to find a nice mix of sounds.

Overall it's really cool sounding... it's got me fired up to get my atari going. (I got another one now with a color monitor too! Whooot!) I LOVE the bumble bee load icon! ;)

Cheers!

Very nice indeed PFC, Aphex Twin meets Massey. Get her on here, we need more girls here! But I"m moving it to music topic, OK?

I see what you mean. I like.

I've got a funny feeling that's not a girl, though.

When it was said that it was a girl, I decided to watch it in full screen to have a perv. At about 4:20 - 4:40 you get a brief glimpse. I'm telling you, it's not a girl. lol

Nothing in there to awake my (musical) senses really but Atari was a nice old pal. I worked on the Atari since 1989, up until 1997 or 98 I think. I had loads of Ataris, and one of them got an all yellow paint job. Then I went Mac. And then Reason came & all the synths went out on the classifieds.

haha, yeah definately a guy but that is one quality christmas jumper he has on. Definitely knitted by his grandma.

Must have been xmas 92, playing on his atari with his new knitwear on while the family were downstairs pulling crackers.
