Musicians, Producers etc Apple G5 & Logic

Whilst checking the forum, I've been getting updates on the Apple Developers Conference. It shows the New G5 running Logic with 1000 simultaneous voices played with 24-bit (high) quality stereo. Then shows 100 EQs, 8 bands each (with stereo) == 1600 bands.
Aparently Pentium4 and Zeon toasting specs are the order of the day, what a pity I'm absolutely skint. (see earlier post regarding Agent Nick)
