I've just about recovered from a mad Bank Holiday weekend - Spent Saturday in the pub watching the Cup finals and Sunday we went to Shindig's 10th Birthday at Baltic Square in Newcastle which was a mad outdoor (bloody freezing) party next to the Gateshead millenium bridge with Scott and Scooby, Yousef and Roger Sanchez. Yousef was excellent, Roger Sanchez was Ok, and everyone soon got warmed up by dancing around like nutters - On Monday there was a free gig on at Blackfriars in Ncl - Fila Brazilia were on which was good to just chill out to a bit of funk during the day. Tuesday night we went to see Royksopp at Newcastle Uni who were excellent - they played a more uptempo set than the stuff on their album, mostly 4/4 a couple of the tracks were a bit chemical brothers
Roll on the June bank holidays - Coloursfest here we come
Anyone else been to any other good gigs recently?
Ian

On the subject of that weekend with Shindig, Royksopp and Fila Brazilia, there is a new Traveller website who ran the latter two of those events

It also says on the News page that Jockey Slut magazine's resident photographer went to the 808 State DJ's at Traveller so if anyone went their photo might be in
