The web-site to check out is:

http://kraftwerk.technopop.com.br

It's the web-site Pete suggested recently... :)

Got tickets for both London dates - they're all selling out exceedingly fast, so grab 'em whilst you can!

got both tickets chamone!

london festival hall is seated (i'm upstairs as downstairs is sold out),

Brixton Academy is standing, so i'll be between the bar and the stage on that one.

c u there old skoolers (u might never get to see the innovators again, the last 2 times they played london was in 1981 & 1991. and both Ralf & Florian are both in their mid fifties now)!

Saw this on ticketmaster and thought I was dreaming.

God knows what I'll be doing in March but I had to get a ticket for the Manchester gig, like you say it's probably the only chance of seeing them.

They were on TOTP2 the other week in a docu style montage from the early 70's playing autobahn in a studio with a commentator explaining how they made their own drum kits etc, you could see how it was all virtually homemade technology, fascinating to watch.

It's going to be a surreal moment seeing the innovators of the bleep LIVE......can't wait.

From Kraftwerk to 808, we are so lucky to be able to witness the band who invented the electro sound to todays pioneers who have enhanced it to a new level, can't be that many people who can say that.

Something to tell the kids.......

BTW, they're playing two gigs at Brixton Academy that night - one at 8pm for an hour, and the other at 10pm for an hour...

I got tickets for the 8pm one (I think!).

From previous live recordings i have of theirs, they usually play for an hour, then have an interval. then they open the second part with their robots (not the band) moving about to the tracks robots & robotronik, then the band return to the stage for the rest of the set!

Not on this one, they're not...

You can buy tickets for the 11:00pm show here - http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=uk&query=detail&event=84234&interface=brixacad

Of course, the 8:00pm show lasts two hours, wheras the 11:00pm show starts at 12:30am and finishes at 3:00am... So, does this mean they're going to be doing a longer set later...? :(

It says it is a midnight show on their website.
Last year they played at Paris starting at 11.59 pm ??

Are tickets still available ?

Dublin sold out in a hour.

I'm in the US for the moment so I'm still waiting on tenderhooks for them to announce shows over here.

I love Kraftwerk but I have never seen them play.
I am jinxed when they play.Always seem to be doing something when they announce a gig and I usually can't make it or its sold out.
In 1997 I couldn't make Tribal because I had poxy exams.I was all set for to see them at Expo 2000 but they never played. :x
Still can't figure out why they never played at that or on December 31, 1999.They were to have had a new album called 'Millenium' at one point.
I think they have loadsa unreleased material.

I loved the new material they played in Karlsruhe and Linz in 1997.Very dark techno.

I think the new album TDF is great. It was a very brave album for them to put out.Now that they have broken through that wall I can see them relaxing more and bringing out more stuff. These gigs they will play on laptops!

Ticket demand for Amsterdam was very high too, so they've moved it to a larger venue. Last time I saw Kraftwerk must have been in '91 (Zurich).
