The as off today list of matches on an '808 state' search at mixesdb.com.

http://tinyurl.com/3x68mv

I finally got the legendary Ben Liebrand Grandmix 91 (feat. Cubik) in its whole in nice quality.

Only took 15 years, where I didn't bother to track a CD bootleg. A monster classic from a monster year in music. The masters Grandmix series is all available. Nice.

Notice. Far from all mixes have tracklistings.

PS. Later I realise that it lists 'state' only hits too. Well, go searching.

Dane-State on a roll! I've never been able to get hold of the 90 & 91 Grandmixes (both featuring Cubik) either. Thanks!

Oh your right. 89 and 91 where mega classics for me (got 89 back then on bootleg vinyl). I might have had, or listened to, 88 and 90 partially (from radio), but it will be reexperienced soon 8)

Ben Liebrand's stuff where a league of it own, and the original Grandmix DMC CD promos are rare and very high priced. The mixes have never been released officially.

This mix is hot off of the HD - it's not even two hours ago,
since I got a heads-up from it's creator, Mick Chillage (XFM Dublin):

Mick Chillage Old School classics megamix
Tracklist :
Inner city : goodlife
Humanoid : Stakker Humanoid
L.F.O : L.F.O
Sweet Exorcist : Testone
A guy called gerald : Voodoo Ray
Meat Beat manifesto : Radio Babylon
Future Sound of London : Papua New Guinea
Depeche Mode : Happiest girl (Orb mix)
Orbital : Chime
Joey Beltram : Energy flash
Hardfloor : Accperiance
Slam : Positive education
Jam & spoon : Stella
Luke Slater : Love (Mick chillage extended edit medley)
808 state : Pacific 202

Mind, it isn't the "full" Pacific 202 he's dropping here
(but an edit with the intro, the end and then closing with the intro - Ableton?);
but when a mix is as good as this (IMHO), all's forgiven, I say!

I got the Grandmix 90 and immediately recogniced sequences and cuts. So I figured I must have listened to a taped radio recording back then. But I felt something wrong about that. Only later into the listining I suddenly remembered that I actually have this on a bootleg vinyl as well. :-? Which is actually stored away in a box in the basement and not sitting on the 808 shelf. Red ears.

Errr, you're in the wrong topic (what has this got to do with 808 state?) and probably on the wrong site all together?

For people who don't read the 'music' forum and might miss this 808-relatet piece of news: Don Dee3 has completed another of his very fine mixes. This one includes Graham's Store St. track. Discussion.
