new autechre lp

when i was at the rebuild party in london, i had the chance to ask sean booth when we might expect a new autechre lp.

he said that ae had just recently mastered a new album due out february!

after hearing the autechre remix of unique 3 the theme, and the new gescom ep-im very curious how the new album will sound...

Yeah I met Sean at the Wang! party too! We didn't talk a lot about the new album, though. I thought 'Untilted' had some mind boggling moments so im looking forward to it! Or maybe they're going to go crazy and go back to the dancefloor styles of 'Cavity Job'???

Also, the new Gescom EP has some brilliant moments, and considering it returns to the days of old dance music occasionally (check the last track, insane mashup of 'No Way Back' by Adonis), maybe we are all in for a complete surprise?

I noticed they are touring, so will be catching them in March in Amsterdam!

Looking at this, I kind of assumed it was exclusively available from Warpmart:

Bought the album today, given it a bit of a listen, so far I really like it ('Simmm' is one of the cleverest things they've ever done). I also caught them live yesterday in London, one hell of a gig!!
