Was just wandering through my local Zavvi and from a distance spotted a familiar Red, Yellow & Blue. They had two copies, of course they only have one copy now as I can't wait any longer. Just have to cancel my order from HMV. Now if only my boss would sod off to a meeting I could get the level cranked up on my computer.

It came in Tuesdays post from Amazon uk. Not bad to say Monday was a bank holiday, i thought it would be wednesday or later.
It is astounding to hear some "new" 808 music from that era that I've not heard before. It makes me want to get all the remixes that 808 & graham have done in the past.(I've just been doing that slooowly for Carl Craig's remixes) I only just heard the 808 redhills road remix. Top stuff! Rick from candyflip produced my brother and me's first attempt at dance music! a loooooong time ago! He's a top producer/engineer...

I picked up a copy in HMV Nottingham yesterday and cancelled the web order. It's very frustrating that there are copies in HMV stores yet they seem to have treated their web customers as a lower priority....plus it cost me an extra £4. I won't be using them again.
It's a fantastic CD though and worth every penny.

Actually I was really surprised about all the praising of hmv.co.uk. I thought it was common knowledge that their online shop stinks. The ordering procedure is tiresome and a couple of years back they changed their shipping policy which made them far more expensive than anyone else for overseas purchasers. Customer service is bad too.
Which is why I said in this thread earlier that I would generally recommend Boomkat, juno & warpmart - in that order.
Note that hmv.co.jp is a different story - they obviously rule!! Highly recommended.

Yes, HMV.co.uk are the pits with online orders, ever since they moved to Jersey a couple of years ago... You order something on their site, and they send an e-mail a week later saying "Sorry, we've tried ordering it for you, but we can't get it anymore".... Erm, sorry?
I generally tend to go with either Juno (who post the next day), and Boomkat (in 808's old offices).

I use Warpmart for as many orders as possible, quick ordering and a generally good selection.
Mine came this morning - what can I say? Sounds even better than when I heard i on the vinyl for the first time, tremendous stuff, a great spin on acid music. Lovely bonus tracks too - In Yolk is more or less a simple and beautiful ambient tune!
Good old 808
