Yes, full credit must go to Pob for the whispers, both agents King and Arnold shockingly were unaware, so waited for Graham's approval on it :)

Even though it's my mum's birthday, I shall definitely be going up to that...

Apparently:

"The Print Factory building originally was the News International production plant for The Sun, The Times and The News of the World.

The Venue is situated just South of the River Clyde on 124 Portman Street, and is well serviced by public transport (two minutes walk from Kinning Park subway station). The venue is a five minute drive from Glasgow Central train station (in the heart of the city) and approximately 15 minutes by car from Glasgow International Airport."

and

"The Print Factory's in Kinning Park, as the previous poster said. Watch yourself when you're in that area. It's well dodgy - gets worse the closer to the motorway you get and the venue in question overlooks the motorway. I used to live round there and didn't walk about myself after dark. It's also very common for parked cars to get smashed in round there so take the underground and use the well lit streets rather than the most direct ones! There's a huge carpark at Shields Road if you must drive."

Address:

The Print Factory
Middlesex Street Entrance
Kinning Park
Glasgow
G41 1EJ

Sounds like a well dodgy place! :P

Eh???

Never ever heard of this being used for gigs. Massive warehouse though so sounds good. I'm intrigued

Apparently the Fratellis are playing there on 20th December, and that's the only gig I can find that's listed at the moment...

From a punter in the know on the Slam Forum -

License starts 26th November, and ends on January 2nd. There'll be a few more electronic things as well as your usual (Fratelli's etc).

Test run with a view to getting it back up and running in the spring 2009. It's an amazing venue. Like a bigger version of the hacienda. Approx 5,000 capacity.

Plus I fly to spain for a week on boxing day :) :(

Good news for The Minnin Trapper and good news for my mum (it's her birthday on 27th, she wasn't that keen that I'd be away for it)!
