Advertised on Carling academy Glasgows website now.

See the Fratellis gig has been moved from Printworks venue as well.

Of course, they've changed the date on that poster, but not the venue or the line-up...

Apparently, ACR can't make the reschedule?

Anyway, it looks as though it's going to be prohibitively expensive to travel on the Saturday after Christmas...

Cheapest EasyJet flights are 140 quid (return).... Trains are about the same...

Ah well... :(

Aye defo changed to Carling Acaademy. Received text and phonecall from Ticketmaster confirming.

Waited most of my life for a gig like this :(

Golfing in Spain might soften blow.

Damn - still tempted...

RyanAir = 200 quid return
BMI = 400 quid return
BA = 200 quid return
EasyJet = 140 quid return

Erm...

So, a train fare will still be the cheapest option, but rail works over the Christmas Period will mean changes...

Goes off to have a think... :)

sorry not going now, ticketmaster will refund my ticket cost as its changed date, i'm not paying silly money for flights, i know i'm a loyal fan, but there are limits!

i'll still keep my record of all the gigs in england then :)

(can't count bestival, that was abroad)

Likewise - I've been mulling this over for a while now, but I can't really justify the train/plane expenses post-Christmas (which is more expensive as more people want to travel at that time of the year, hence all cheap flights/train tickets get snapped up earlier than usual)...

If I could drive, I'd drive up there...

Ah well, roll on Bestival...
