Got both the mixed and the unmixed CDs and looking forward to seeing them perform "76:14" live next Friday (at the British Library in London!).

Anyway, both Tom & Mark do a track-by-track analysis of the album, and here's what they've got to say about Sunrise:

"This is such a key album in my history, bought it at Records And Tapes in Falmouth, jumped on the train and couldn't wait to get back home to listen to it. We'd all heard their anthem, 'Pacific State', but the album took things to a new level, integrating samples, synth and drum programming to create a complete soundtrack. This track is pretty special though: we used to play it at dawn at our Phase Two after-parties, beyond the sand dunes with the Atlantic reaching out before us, waves crashing in, sea spray leaving a salty taste on our lips. Funny how a track can put you right back in the moment."

All in all, an excellent compilation - well worth a purchase! :)
