808 at the movies

Post by Magical Dream »

How about an atmospheric track from 808 in a movie? To accompany one of the matrix fights scenes perhaps...or a car chase. What do you guys think? what would you like to see done?

Hello Magical Dream,

Yes, certainly. I am writing a movie at the moment and there are definately some scenes that would be great with some 808. :)

Can't really say any more than that, other than that it is a science faction movie... :)

Keep it safe! :)

I was dead dissapointed Pacific was cut from 24 Hour Party People.

Well. I have the perfect tune for opening titles (non 808) but I am not going to tell you because I would not like to reassociate it with any movie.

I guess I feel that way about a lot of 808 music as well. But sure, a lot of they catalogue would be great in movies.

'S Funny bit I always think of films when I listen to 808.

I can imagine the following

606-The Crying Game
Dissadis-any film when the camera pans down to an ancient tribe village that has been discovered and the inhabitants are working away..
Bond/Plan 9-any Bond film
Oops-any film about female love and heartbreak...

I think Black D'artagnan would sound great in any film

Oh yeah. I have a music video in my head for at track. Can right up when I heard it the first time. That's what instrumental music is about I guess.
