hi therte mime, thanks for the reply

do you know what mix of D.O.P. they play? its not a version i recognise, i just thought it was a different record using the same vocal sample, might be wrong thou

"the gonzo" is the name of the track, check out this page --

Its the jelly mix of DOP's Groovy beat, it samples Blancmanges living on the ceiling. i'll have a look at that lost/Gonzo vinyl I must admit it has been a while since its seen the light of day :wink: so they're probably right , the cover seemed so clear in my mind....

i was convinced it wasnt DOP

ive got a different mix that has another version of groovy beat that i dont recognize and i was thinking it wasnt DOP either, could you give it a listen and see if you know which mix it is.

Hey Brady, I just had look on the original 12" and the mix you had attached isnt on there - But, there was a remix EP done with various Guerilla tracks on it imaginitively titled 'Guerilla Remix EP' and the mix you've heard is the Acorn Arts remix - Part II.

no the mix on 808 state is defo the Jelly mix which is different to the one you wanted me to check which is the Acorn arts mix...

Now Ive just found another record I heard on one of the shows but cant remember which one it was, i'll be back LOL

Were you directory browsing and referring to the 07Jan92 show which I hadn't listed yet? Because that one does indeed start with U.H.F. by U.H.F. I don't think this one does.
