Dandelion Crush (Pacific tribute)

Well spotted Badgerman. I think only the first mix samples Pacific. It sounds pretty cheesy in my oppinion. Here's the write-up from kingunique.com
Dandelion Crush - 01/02/06
It's here! New improved nostalgia - even better than it used to be! KU's homage to 808 State's finest moment hits the plastic palaces on February 27th, courtesy of those rose-tinted spectacle wearers at Alternative Route. A choice blend of Sega synths and psychedelic saxophones, available in original Atlantic or new Bush II Bush flavour.

OK, official release is tomorrow, but noticed quite a few places already have white labels for sale. Digital download is available already from http://www.magneticgrooves.com/
Here are the details again:
ATLANTIC [King Unique]:
a) Dandelion Crush (Original Mix)
b) Dandelion Crush (Bush II Bush Remix)
Label: Alternative Route
Cat: ARR030
Formats: 12" & digital download.
Must say, it's beginning to grow on me. Side A is clearly a tribute and I suppose the 'Atlantic' guise is also a reference to Pacific. Side B gets the harder German treatment and doesn't really leave any references to Pacific left.
Now going slightly off-topic, but when checking out forthcoming releases of the Alternative Route Records label, I came across Njoy who have re-recorded Anthem! http://www.alternativerouterecordings.com/arr032.html

It only seems to be available on promo thus far - you can buy the promo at 3Beat - there are quite a few stores selling it on MP3...
Maybe the release date got pushed back?
