!!! Haha! was worth waiting for the surprise :D this looks brilliant! More than twice as many tracks as the original EP! Both CD and LP on HMV Japan here:

CD: http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail/2711190
LP: http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail/2711191

Note that according to this site the vinyl only includes the original EP and 'Let Yourself Go' (no unreleased tracks).

Amazon Germany lists it for release on 9th May, Amazon UK for 13th May.

By the way, where is "Dance Yourself To Death" ? 8)

Rephlex's PR lists it as 25th May, so I'd bet closer to that date than any earlier!

"Dance Yourself To Death" (I presume you're referring to the one off the "Dance Yourself To Death" German compilation album?) is an MC Tunes track, so wouldn't really fit onto Quadrastate. If any MC Tunes stuff gets reissued in the future (not currently planned, if ever?), then that would probably be the best place for it to appear.

Now, where to to order this from? Personally I can't wait (although I'll obviously have to) Quadrastate remastered - superb!!!! The bonus tracks look very interesting too, and with the inclusion of Let Yourself Go this is one of the most important 808 releases ever!!!

at the autechre/massonix show in l.a.
graham mentioned to me that quadrastate:

will be out in may.

bonus tracks have an ambient feel to them

and (like newbuild reissue) half of the ep tracks are mastered from original clean vinyl pressings!

A bit early to say, but generally I would always recommend Boomkat, juno, warpmart - in that order.

After a little search...and some excitement on hearing new but old 808 State tracks within the next month :D

http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/5447178 ... oduct.html

http://www.find-cd.co.uk/cds/B0016CPJCU ... astate.htm

Although price varies from £9-£11...regardless I'm happy and pre-ordering

The release date varies too...some say 26th May others 5th May :-?

I've just purchased Aphex Twin's SAW 85-92 tonight and I had a 'don't forget Quadrastate is out soon' moment :)

And the version in Japan is the European edition...

So, to order from HMV Japan for an edition that is exactly the same as the one that's due out shortly over here....

Hmmm... :-? :-? :-?
