Question - Pacific State...

Post by Ezzun »

Anyone able to settle a bet?? On Pacific State, is it a sax, or something else? I reckon it's something else, but my mate reckons t's a sax - who is right?

A sax, see this topic viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2092&start=15 (second last posting, by Graham).

Thanks very much - unfortunately I was technically wrong, although I'm sure I could convince this person that the instrument in question is called a sopranino, and cunningnly omit the 'saxophone' bit. But I won't do that...

It never helped that Graham would often be seen using a wind controller (WX5 or similar) on shows like Top of the Pops.
I suppose to add to the Techno image of the band at the time, but definitely recorded on a Soprano Saxophone.
N.B. A Sopranino would be an octave higher than an Alto
