First impressions are great! so far sounding really good, particularly loving Eastern Standard, Kabuki Disco and Rotator!

Mulling over paying another £7 just for Quincy's long (One of my fave 808 tracks, but is there that much difference??? Can I justify the outlay?)

Never got State to State 3....although I was in the fan club and got my orginal State to State CD through the mail...eventually sold it on ebay.
But this was so easy and simple...and thankfully, I was able to paypal it without the US-UK hurdle. Now if Blueprint were available through the website, I could have acquired it much faster than using snail mail through Amazon (US).

Off topic, but ..... Is there any market to 808 fans for my old import CD singles ?
vs. David Bowie (Sound+Vision)
10x10
ooops
Lopez
Azura (2 cds)
Plan 9
Timebomb
Bombadin
Bond
cubik
Lift

Long Quincy is the same mix as "Slut Smalls 7 inch"http://www.808state.com/discogs/808page ... quincy.htm
but full length & un edited. Different recording to Outpost's Quincy.
Planning to do the missing extra Outpost Tracks with Invader and some bits as a release early next year.
We did nt want to go over 80 minutes on OT.
And there is talk of a deal where we will sell ZTT stuff direct from here,
plus T shirts etc .
Hope you enjoy

Just finished with State to State 3. I love it. Have to say this (for me) should have got the Blueprint treatment/promotion and the big up talk from all those know it all journalists. This music on STS 3 is still up to date today, even ahead of its time. Blueprint I was happy to see/buy but listening to it gave me quite some pain, quck to flick to the next tune...

Also I'm totally shocked to see only 11 replies to this fkn fantastic release on this fkn fantastic website from this fkn fantastic bunch of Mancs!!! I mean you gotta get yer earphones on, you gotta get the right sound system on, but you gotta get it ON and make some noise! This is really the best 808 release for a long time!

In no particular order...

Eastern Standard – think invader / banacheq? Yes!
Atlas 7 – luuuuuv it, pure 808, think Globalstate. Yes!
Swimperial – for the techno soldiers (whistle). Yes!
Olympic - quality, super recording. Yes!
Argentro nasto – weakest on the album. No.
Lemon – well done Mr Ftiz von Runte its (very) good. Yes!
Colony – better/tight/harder. Yes!
Flutronic (revisited)– love it, reminds me of reaper repo. Fook yes!
Psalm – A highlight / sounds like a Radiohead TKOL Remx? luvelyjubly. Yes!
Kubaki Disco – highlight! YES!
Shellfish – yes yes yes yes just keeps getting better as it goes on (classic 808)
Rotator - standout! Yes!

WEL DONE 808 - STS3 IS A TOP RELEASE AND MANY THANKS FOR THE BEST XMAS PRESENT!!!!!!

There is a bit of an issue with Eastern Standard in that I handed in a mono mix by accident,
This has now been fixed and all people who have downloaded will be contacted
and will be given a free down load code.
There you go one ,one advantage to digital. if that was CD it would have been an expensive recall.
Im still a doofus for not checking ,
Id done some fiddling in logic on a stereo track and moved it down the screen a bit and i always thought it just kept its stereo status ,
You live and learn. It sounds much better in stereo.

I was contacted earlier and downloaded the stereo version with no problems. Sounds great!
