Poo !!

I bought this just for the Massey Mix. I don't like this Robbie singe, but the Massey Mix is cool.....

Problem: I want to rip the Massey Audio so I can put it on my Ipod... notinterested in the rest of the DVD...

Anyone know how I can do this please ?

try http://dvd.golddownload.com/DVD_Audio_Ripper.html. it's quick enough to download, but i haven't tested it out yet.

Seems a cool tool, however in unregistered mode the maxiumum time of encoding is 5 minutes, not long enough for the massey mix.

Well I have tried various software... but it seems to me that Mr Williams has done this DVD with pictures playing while the track plays.... Therefore most of the software can not find the audio track !

Gutted.

Depends what you are playing it on?

If it's a stand alone DVD Player, they (most of them that is) have audio out, so you could always record in on your pc via the outputs of the DVD Player.

Or, if it's a DVD-Rom, you could just play it and record it with Sound Forge, providing your sound card has a 'What U Hear' option (most of the Soundblaster range, inc Audigy cards have this)

Lastly, the trickier option is a prog called BeSweet, which can extract audio to .wav files from the vob files, you'd first need a prog like AnyDVD, in case the DVD has copy-protection on - some Discs won't let you copy the vob files, but using AnyDVD will let you at them.

If anyone downloads this, I'd be interested to hear how the playing of the Massey track goes, seeing that the DVD won't play properly with Windows Media Player (it does with VLC player).

its a 192Kbps WMA file. excellent stuff. the download allows you 3 burns to CD or to a portable player.

what a fantastic remix!! it actually reminds me of 808 circa Quadrastate / 90
