808 Live Glasgow Barrowlands '93

In 1993, round about the time of the "Gorgeous" album, me and a couple of mates bought briefs to see 808 Live at the Barras.

I remember getting away from work early on the Friday because 808 were to be signing copies of the album in HMV in Argyle Street - but it never happened.

A couple of hours before the gig was due to start, we found out it had been cancelled! A pure sickener.

Does anyone else remember this?

And does anybody know why it was cancelled? Graham?
