I have not been on the forum for a while but i do have a piece of useless info to share.Everybody knows that 808 state are big in Japan. Apart from England and America and Germany as well. But Indonesia? No sorry, 808 are unknown to the Indonesians. So i have taken it upon myself to educate them and become 808s ambassador in Indonesia.
I met a girl on the net from Jakarta and over the passed year we have corrisponded alot and become great friends. She asked if i could send any of the music that i liked to her so guess what i sent her?
I created a 2 disc CD-r of 808 choons mainstream and some not so well known and called it Anthology. I explained to her that it was my personal choice of what i thought she would like. I think the hardest track on there was IN YER FACE. I never sent her CUBIK, i didn't want to scare her.
Well i am going over to see her soon. She loved JOYRIDER of which i sent the DON SOLARIS album version and THERMO KINGS album version. If she wants any more i will send her some but it was interesting to hear comments from a fresh audience.
