US or UK version of Outpost Transmission?

Post by willman85 »

Which is better? I haven't got it yet and I was wondering whether I should shell out for the import US copy too? Basically, what I'm asking is whether the following songs: Qunicy's Lunch; Doctors and Nurses; Brown Sauce; Long Orange (Testa), are better collectively than: Boogieman; Roundbum Mary; Slowboat; and Yoyo.

The US tracks have been used more live whilst the UK tracks have more of an album feel. Quite a few have stated they don't like the Boogieman or his Boogiewoman (not even live), yet I'm actually quite fond of Slowboat and Yoyo. If you can afford it, buy them both.

On their own the US version is much better than the UKs, containing the best of the UK album with some great additional tracks, if your a serious collector then obviously you would by them both.

Cheers. Seeing as the UK version can be found for as little as 2.99 on amazon I've just got to find somewhere that sells the US copy...
