:( Bollocks

I was hoping nobody on here would notice Forecast. Looks like I'm gonna have a bidding war again like I did with State to State.

Yes, that was a bit cruel of Mr Ancodia. Guess he was just wanting to get 500 posts in there :)

Sorry about that pobski, I was trying to be helpful. :(
I will now spit all over my computer screen and write my name in apology!

Noticed the Moses promo went to a certain 'locationeuropedk' for the paltry sum of £2.15. Around 4% of what I paid for it ages ago! :(

Moses ended up for almos 3 quid! I'd have paid 3 times more... at least.

Here is the special Germain Pacific 12" for you die-hard collectors.

Not distinguishable by the front cover. But by label which is pictured on the auction. The back cover also has some additional details.

The reason for the Moses promo to sell that low is because a lot of you have it. It is the simple nature of auctioning. As rare as it may be, the demand has dropped.

It is a tough question if us, from this community, should "let" each other have rare goods at the entry bid. On the other hand bidding wars should attract more items onto ebay. Which is good. I don't know. Personally I can hornestly say that I have backed off quite a few auctions. Somebody had already placed bids and I think "why push it".

But on items being special and highly desirable to me I have gone for it. Fetching very high prices. Sometimes for myself and sometimes not.

No probs John. If I hadn't have already seen it on eBay you'd've been No1 on my Christmas Card list coz I've been looking for it for years.

Hello to you all as well.
Do you work at Esprit? ;) I think most people are well aware of eil.com, but "not too bad prices"? Prices at esprit:
Forecast = £ 32.99
Moses = £ 24.99
Don't know about you but to me that is pretty damn expensive.

I'd seen Forecast on eil but it was £40. :(

Anyway, I 'won' mine today for £26. :D

Thank goodness the Apple Store in the Trafford Centre has internet access on all their demo models. Otherwise, I'd have missed it.

Nice 1 POB beat me to it. I thought £25 would have covered it :( Never mind I'll find my own copy. Not paying prices on eil though, after some good advice. :wink:

Cheers m8.

You might still have the last laugh yet - it has to arrive here!

I hope no light-fingered postie does a runner with it.
