Hehe. Nice one. I'll have to point it out to my wife as Grease is one of her all-time favorite movies.

2 minutes and 20 seconds into Tubs there's a break with claps and a guitar hit. Does anyone happen to know where that might be from? It sounds a lot like Greased Lightning.

BTW...I use DVD Region free which will play anything...even the RPC2 drives...so it is definitely the media.

I tried both the region hack and changing the region legitimately. Considering I've never had problems with any other discs I've got to assume it's the media. But I'll continue playing with it until I exchange it.

The DVD is borked. I tried for an hour to get it to work...I could get the menu to show up only one time and nothing would play for very long before it stopped responding all together.

Oh well...I'm hoping ZTT responds soon so I can return it and get a replacement!

I know it's old hat for most of you but I got opti buk in today and I'm estatic (region encoding be damned!).

It's odd for me to hear everyone talking about 808 being on the charts since in America that never happened. Every now and then I would come across an "alternative" radio station devoting an hour or so to "techno" music and they would trumpet the release of a new 808 single. But that's about it ...
