Quadrastate was once listed for release on CD in Japan as Quadrastate Vol.1 but was never released. The main problem being that all the Quadrastate tracks were remixed into tracks featuring on the Utd State 90 album.

If you really want quadrastate on CD wait until Prebuild comes out and get every one of your friends and family to buy a copy, and even that strange uncle that nobody talks to any more. If prebuild sells well enough, I'm sure we can push for Quadrastate to be re-released.

Has anyone else noticed that So Hot and Prebuild carry Rephlex CAT numbers 806 & 807? Maybe CAT 808 is pre-reserved for Quadrastate, or am I just dreaming?

Regulars to this board will know that a Quadrastate CD release is mentioned on this forum the first week of every April :D

What was Fire Cracker remixed to?

Fire Cracker is the exception. Pity, as in my opinion it is the second best track behind Pacific.

My apologies for generalising, obviously that should have read 'most of the tracks'

I agree totally. The reason i want the cd, not only to complete my 808 cd collection is because i want to hear Firecracker in all its digital remastered, bass pounding glory. Better than Disco State, which is another fave though.

Pacific is king though. It is to 808 what Oxygene part 4 is to Jean Michel Jarre. Their signature tune. It defines who they are.

I know I expressed my opinions on the quadrastate polls page but at the risk of annoying Markus on creating a duplicate subject I wondered what other fans would like to be included on the hopefull Quadrastate CD?

It makes sense to fill up the release with as much material as possible, and I think that at least Pacific 909 should be tagged on the end of it as it is a brilliant version of pacific and a tune in its own right! (and its only been available on cd format on a US promo). Pacific 909 is in keeping with the time and feel of quadrastate, which i feel is important because the EP works very well with the tracks already on it.

Does anyone else agree about 909/ or have a different track they think should be on there?
I think Pacific 909 and Pacific B should definately be there. Maybe Let Yourself Go and Deepville. When NewOrder released (the rest of) in 1995 there was a limited edition with a bonus cd filled with BlueMonday versions.
My golden dream is to have the same with quadrastate - the bonus cd with all the versions of paicific remastered: 0101, 0101 remix, bonus birds beats, 909, pacific break, pacific b, 516 etc...

I think Let Yourself Go & Deepville would be a safe bet :)

Yep, both the 303 and D50 versions of Let Yourself Go and Deepville would make great bonus tracks. I don't think a load of versions of pacific would be very good, however I am lucky enough to have the US promo with them all on!!!

C'mon Rephlex lets get this Quadrastate CD released! Hopefully Prebuild sales will encourage it. There seems to be an acid house revival upsurge, so Prebuild & the New Order remixes seem to be timed to perfection. I've even dug my Altern8 '88 Acid Revival' shirt out of the loft!!!
