Open Your Mind

Post by N.JOHNSON »

I have just been listening to my Lift CD single. I got it as soon as it was released all those years back and i think that it still Bangs. Lift heavy version is real kick ass stuff but i love Open Your Mind. 8)

That track should have been on an album. It f***in' rocks and yet is strangly sublime at the same time. I love the Total Recall vocal sample too. It may be dated but i say that most of 808s best stuff was around that time. Times have changed and so must we. I like the new material but we should not forget our old friends and Open Your Mind was one of mine.

Respect. :D

i agree mate, lift was a nice tune, but Open Your Mind was the stronger & would've been better on the a side!

IMHO the best mix of Open is the Fon mix. Shame ZTT only released it on a promo.

...not to be confused with usura's cheesy '93 chart success of the same name!

Nothing wrong with a bit of Cheese!
There was actually quite a good mix of the Usura track on the 96/97 re-release.
