John Peel played this last night, on Rephlex Records. Sounds very much like the late eighties 808 State as we loved them. You can hear it at the Wednesday (1st September) 'listen online' link at www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/alt/johnpeel

for seven days - it begins about 1hour and twelve minutes into the show, so you'll have to use that 'skip' function.

Must say, I can't hear anything of the original in there, so I don't know why it's being billed as 808/New Order, when it's technically a cover version rather than a remix! I'm guessing this is the release to be backed by their version of 'Blue Monday'
