US- Born In The North 12"

Hi all,

Is there anyone here kind enough to offer up an mp3 of A Guy Called Gerald's 'Born In The North'? From what I've heard of it from this link (http://www.htfr.com/vinyl/artist/?artis ... D%20GERALD), it's a killer track, and one of the last bits of late 80s acid house from Manchester on vinyl that I want to hear. Cheers to anyone that can help.

it is a killer track,Its always in my dj box.Ed s given me a DAT to transfer that has all the different mixes on it including un released ones
We were trying to get Rephlex to put it out ,it may still happen.
If it was our teack we could put it up but it isnt ,youd have to ask Gerald and Ed Barton and Viv and Colin and Haiff ,i think were all involved not shure Nick will know.

Yup, the group was collectively known as "US", which comprised:

Gerald (with Viv Dixon on vocals)
Edward Barton
Chapter & The Verse (Colin/Haniff)

Graham played it in his XfM DJ show here

Yeah!!! That one's a topper.

I recently got that plate at a used Vinyl Shop in St Catharines (Niagara Region) of all places!!! 1st time I heard that track was on the X-Fm mix Graham did.

I was shocked to find it here of all places. Pure Aciiiiid 'Ouse!
