Post by Tasco »

Hi all,

I wish to purchase both versions of Outpost Transmission on CD. Can any of you point me in the right direction of trusted sites please ?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Tasco,

No problem, here goes:

UK Edition:

At Amazon UK, you can only buy second-hand copies, so it seems, so the best places to order one brand new (rather than second hand) would be Esprit here

US Edition:

Amazon US do have this in stock here

Hope this helps,

Nick ;)

Who would have thought that Outpost Transmission would become a bit of a collectors item? :)

Could you be more specific in what you have tried. For example, have you tried Amazon US for the US CD and Esprit for the UK CD with the links that Nick provided above? Both claim that the CDs ship within 24 - 72 hours. What was their response?

Also for the US CD, quite a few eBay BuyItNow shops are selling it.

Hi mate...

Right, I have telephoned Esprit and they can't get it on UK or the Jap Import... it has been deleted :x

I have seen them on Amazon. But I don't trust the re-sellers. I have had problems before. :(

I will try Amazon USA when I get home...

Cheers all.

Looks like Circus Records are in a big mess, that may explain why it's been deleted. I'll update the Outpost Transmission page.

Annoying that Esprit haven't updated their site to reflect that they haven't got the CDs.

Action Records:-

http://www.action-records.co.uk

have the UK Outpost Transmission on CD, £11.99.

Dealt with them before, good company and fast service. They're listed in this very site's links pages.

Item #336220 - looks like a promo CD. I think there were photos of this on this site before it was released.

Item #339983 is the normal UK CD release.

I'd be stunned if you couldn't buy copies of Outpost quite easily, even HMV has it to buy online...

You can buy the Japanese version here...

http://www.badnews.co.jp/main/en/public ... cgi?id=808

It's Bad News Records, who released it in Japan.

2,300 Yen plus shipping.

I'm sure you'll get the US version somewhere.

Cheers.

HMV Japan are really good, but shipping costs are high. Then again you have your goods really quickly as they send it by DHL...

Cheers for all your help guys.

There is loads of stuff on Ebay... I was thinking of selling my 808 State 12" Records. I have a few White Labels.... But I am not sure if I should keep them.

I noticed on the Discog page a load of remixes by 808 State and Mr Massey. Where the hell are u peeps getting all this stuff. I thought my CD Album and Single collection was pretty good.... but I was wrong then LOL

Perseverance, always checking second hand record stores, the Internet and being sad helps too :)
