The new 7-piece James is revealed on vinyl on November 20 with "Come Home". Incisive lyrics and very addictive melody - certainly the new James sound is both bigger and harder.
The new single, 12" and CD coincide with a major national tour (dates attached) with special guests The Band of Holy Joy and pre-empts the release of their first studio LP for Rough Trade, Gold Mother, due for release in early 1990.
The emphasis will be on national live reviews early in the tour, and a comprehensive ongoing program of regional press and radio support: - preview interviews, competitions, radio sessions, etc, 'Tour Towns' will be covered with listings plus additional support from key regional press/radio, As part of the program the following is already confirmed:
17-18/11 Edinburgh/Strathclyde University - preview BBC Radio Scotland phoner with 'Bite the Wax'; interview with Edinburgh's The List Magazine'; program idents for BBC Scotland's 'Beat patrol'.

people at each gig and strong ticket sales are already
reported in Leeds, Birmingham, Cambridge, Liverpool , Sheffield and
their home town Manchester where they will be playing to a packed
house of just under 3,000.
