How did you get into 808:
I wasn't really aware of their existence until Pacific was issued on ZTT (although I'd heard some tracks on John Peel's show). However I was aware of A Guy Called Gerald beforehand due to his Peel Sessions and subsequent 'Hot Lemonade' & 'Automanikk' albums. Since early 808 was (obviously) very similar to Gerald's stuff at the time, it immediately appealed, and thus went to see them live at the G-Mex in 1991 together with some friends whilst still at university. Since then, I've been following them with avid interest, together with A Guy Called Gerald, of whom I run an unofficial web site on.

Greatest moments:

• Live, obviously, the G-Mex gig in 1991 with Bjork (was a big fan of the Sugarcubes) and N-Joi (loved - still do! - 'Anthem') as support.
• Meeting Gerald at a couple of gigs in both London & Germany, and being asked to help with the upcoming official site.
